Meet our reentry month event fellows
Khadijah A. Brown has a passion for helping to better the lives of individuals around her as well as the members of society many of us forget. As a first-generation college graduate, Khadijah learned early on the challenges many people within her own socioeconomic communities faced. She often thought of ways to make a bigger more meaningful impact. Khadijah started A Dream Deferred Foundation in 2018, which is a newer program for returning citizens that focuses on a holistic approach to reentry.
Marcus Hall has spent all of his professional career in the social service industry as a instructor and trainer. As a returning citizen, Marcus has focused his efforts on assisting other returning citizens in passing their GED exam, enrolling in post-secondary and vocational training opportunities and developing the soft skills required to advance in a career.
