Over 100 people showed up for our first quarterly meeting of 2017, which included a very successful Stakeholder Showcase, thanks to all of you who participated. Almost every single person we heard from said they would attend another showcase set up similarly! Attendees each selected 4 of the 12 stations to visit, and each station had a 5 minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of Q and A. The materials handed out by each presenter are linked below.

Furnishing A Future - A New Vocational Training Opportunity - Furnishing a Future Brochure
Highlighting a new program. Furnishing A Future is a vocational training program that teaches the academic and hands-on skills necessary for returning citizens to enter either the field of fine carpentry or the ready-to-assemble industry. The furniture produced during this 5-week 6-hour/day training is donated to families transitioning from homelessness to affordable housing.
