At the beginning of November the Reentry Project hosted an event for employers looking to hire formerly incarcerated individuals. The event consisted of a panel-type setting, where employers had the opportunity to ask panelists there opinions and advice about the processes behind hiring the formerly incarcerated. Bob Logue, of Quaker City Coffee, Beth Tiewater, of Baker Industries, and Jeff Brown, partner of Uplift Solutions, were in attendance and talked about both the benefits and challenges of hiring formerly incarcerated people.
