Interested in hosting YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School volunteers?

YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School is a program for out-of-school opportunity youth between the ages 18-21 to attain a high school diploma and develop vocational skills. As part of the program, each student serves as a part-time AmeriCorps member and is required to complete a certain number of community service hours. Our Community Projects team works to provide our students with service opportunities that are both meaningful and relevant in order to complete their service requirement.

Many of our students have been deeply affected by the criminal justice system. We would love to work with members of the Philly Re-Entry Coalition on projects pertaining to the legal system and support the vision to humanize prisoners and re-integrate them into our communities when released.
