Women in Reentry Day Symposium

Join an incredible group of formerly incarcerated women, advocates, service providers and city officials as we work together to imagine and demand the systems and support women need to stay free!

Broad St Ministry / 330 - 530PM 315 South Broad, Philadelphia, PA

How can we ensure that women impacted by the criminal justice system are helping to shape and lead our city's reentry efforts (from policies to services)? How could we work together (across sector and geography) to ensure that women impacted by the criminal justice system have all the support they need to thrive in reentry?

All are welcome! Participants will work together to create a blueprint for keeping women free; focused on identifying community-driven solutions to the barriers women face in reentry. The symposium will also include a powerful art exhibit made by women impacted by the CJ system.

Bring your ideas, friends, and passion! Share any resources you can!

This event is being organized by women in reentry who are participating in the spring advocacy program at the People's Paper Co-op. This spring, the women are helping the Philadelphia Community Bail Fund for the Mama's Day Bail Out campaign (raising money to bail mothers out before mothers day).
