Our Closet needs volunteers to assist and serve as sales associates at their pop-up shops where they provide free clothing to Philadelphians in need in a warm, welcoming and dignified manner. Please find the Summer 2018 pop-up schedule here. Volunteers are expected to arrive at 9am and stay until 1pm. From 9am-10am, volunteers will help set up the shop and unpack clothing. From 10am-12pm the pop up is open to shoppers and volunteers will be assisting, helping them find clothing, checking them in and out, and bagging up clothing. From 12-1pm, they will pack up the clothing in the appropriate bags and help break down the store. Our Closet also welcomes groups of 15 or more to sort clothing at our warehouse in Springfield. It’s a wonderful team-building activity and helps prepare the clothing for our pop-ups.
