Job Description

Scope of Position The Community Engagement Liaison will provide customer and facility support to the PA CareerLink® Philadelphia program co-located at the Office of Homeless Services (OHS)’s Appletree Intake Center. The Community Engagement Liaison will provide support and orientation to individuals from a peer-founded, trauma informed service and ensure a comfortable environment. Administrative tasks will be completed as the program requires.

Essential Functions • Welcome and orient individuals to the PA CareerLink® program at Appletree Intake Center • Guide individuals from intake Center to PA CareerLink® program space and educate them on services available • Offer peer support from a trauma-informed background to individuals and their family members • Support the team of staff at the program with administrative tasks • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and planning sessions as appropriate • Report to supervisor any determined weekly data tracking and outcomes

Experience and Skills

• High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required • Interest in working in the human service field • Strong customer service skills • Must be comfortable working with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds • Knowledge of issues related to homelessness and housing insecurity
