Bachelors’ degree (Master’s Degree preferred) AND two years’ experience in reentry programs, restorative justice, victim advocacy or related field
OR
Six years of experience in reentry programs, restorative justice, victim advocacy or related field.
Experience with governmental, judicial and community agencies
Experience supporting, empowering and managing people
Familiarity with community based programs
Interest in working with court-involved people and improving criminal justice,health, career, and other life outcomes of participants of court based programs
Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
City residency required within six (6) months of satisfactory completion of the six (6) month employment probationary period.
Description: This is a managerial position, developing, directing and coordinating various projects within the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania. This serves as the Reentry Coordinator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Criminal Trial Division. The overall goal is to reduce recidivism by supporting the implementation of Common Pleas Criminal Trial Division reentry programs and practices. The Reentry Coordinator will work closely with the program managers and coordinators of the 14 current reentry programs to strengthen and align efforts across programs, build capacity, and develop and track performance indicators to drive continuous improvement. The Coordinator will serve as the central point of contact between the program managers and coordinators of the 14 programs, all judicial leaders, justice partners, and contracted social service partner agencies. The Coordinator will also work closely with the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Criminal Justice, the Office of Reintegration Services, the Philadelphia Reentry Coalition, service providers and those providing supportive services including workforce development, housing, mentoring, and others, and additional stakeholders including program participants. This position reports directly to the Deputy Court Administrator of the Court of Common Pleas Criminal Trial Division.
