Last Wednesday, the Philadelphia Commission for Women released their 2018 Annual Report. A reception at City Hall for the release featured special guests including fellows of the People’s Paper Co-op who authored "Women's Bill of Rights: A Blueprint for Keeping Women Free" included in the report which highlights last year's "Women in Reentry Day" and the outcome of their symposium. The People’s Paper Co-op (PPC) is a women led, women focused, women powered art and advocacy project at the Village of Arts and Humanities. The PPC looks to women in reentry as the leading criminal justice experts our city leaders needs to hear from and uses art to amplify their stories, dreams, and visions for a more just and free world.
