This training workshop will take you through a journey in our criminal justice education system and look at the best practices for assisting the men and women that are behind bars and eventually coming home. An education model for reentry will be explored and practical tools and resources will be considered and discussed. How to successfully bridge the gap from prison to reentry will be reviewed as the reality that education and skill development often holds the key to successful return and reentry to society.
This training will be conducted Jeffrey Abramowitz in collaboration with The Coalition On Adult Basic Education, The Petey Greene Program, and JEVS Human Services.
