Individuals in Philadelphia are heavily impacted by substance use and drug-related arrests, convictions, and subsequent incarceration. Many of the 25,000 individuals returning to Philadelphia each year have a history of substance use disorders or were involved in a drug-related offense. The training will consist of best practices for supporting this population along with a panel discussion on how to support those with substance use disorders.
This training will be conducted by representatives from PHMN and Drexel Medicine.
