MINIMUM requirements for applicants:
Age 18-30
Identify as male
Valid Photo Identification
Copy of your resume
High School Diploma or GED
Willingness to share how violence and trauma have impacted your mental and physical health, and to use that experience to help others heal
Personal experience of violence, either to yourself or someone close to you
Program Expectations:
Commit to 165 hours of training, 4 days weekly for 9 weeks
Attend ALL sessions of the Training Academy
A criminal background may NOT be a barrier to entry into the program- eligibility for the CHWP/CPS Training Academy will be handled on a case by case basis
