Join the People's Paper Co-Op for the 3rd annual Women in Reentry Day which is being organized by a group of powerhouses, the spring 2019 Women in Reentry Advocacy Fellows at the People's Paper Co-op! What is Women in Reentry Day? This spring, in collaboration with the Philadelphia Community Bail Fund, the women at the PPC are organizing pop-up exhibits, campaigns, and events to help raise awareness and funds to help bail out black mothers and caregivers for mothers day.
After Mother's Day, Join us Tuesday, May 14th in the center of Philadelphia's City Hall (1400 JFK BLVD) to celebrate the bail out, hear from amazing women helping to lead this fight, and call for an end to cash bail! The day continues with our Free Our Mother's parade and ends with an art exhibition and symposium focused on working together to push Philadelphia to keep women free.
