Applications for YouthBuild Program Grants
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration is seeking applications for YouthBuild program grants.
Authorized by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), these grants help organizations to provide pre-apprenticeship services that support education, occupational skills training, and employment services to high-risk youth, ages 16 to 24, including youth in foster care, youth involved in the criminal justice system, and/or those who are the child of an incarcerated parent. In addition to construction skills training, YouthBuild grant applicants may include occupational skills training in other in-demand industries in their services. This expansion into additional in-demand industries is the Construction Plus component, a priority in this grant competition.
Applications are due August 6 by 4:00 p.m. ET
