Baker Industries Seeks Applicants for Paid Workforce Development Program
Baker Industries is a program designed to respond to our workers’ special needs while encouraging them to work hard and move on to better things. Baker Industries, attempts to foster feelings of pride and accomplishment that can only come from being included in, rather than excluded from, the regular workforce.
Participants will perform manual labor/light industrial work and are eligible for counseling, training, and more.
To qualify for Baker Industries Program you must fall into one of the following categories:
Currently be on supervised probation or parole
Have a documented disability
Be in an active substance recovery program (AA/NA are not “active” programs)
Be experiencing homelessness (shelter)
Note: Those with firearms offenses, violent felonies, or sex crimes are ineligible for our program.
Pay is $8 per hour.
