Four years ago, a group of workforce professionals convened to discuss common challenges experienced in the field and how organizations may work together. It was agreed that no organization on its own can move the needle. With 600,000 persons coming back from incarceration each year, it's believed there must be equitable access to high-quality, evidence-informed workforce training, and the appropriate policies in place to support people seeking employment.
Understanding this, efforts are focused on high impact areas in reentry workforce where collaboration can lead to impact at scale. Therefore, NRWC is conducting a “Reentry Workforce Priority Areas” poll, to capture the voice of the field. The poll only takes 2-3 minutes to complete.
