
In partnership with the Carpenters Joint Apprentice Committee of Philadelphia & Vicinity, the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, and the General Building Contractors Association, Carpenters’ Apprentice Ready Program 2021 will identify and educate prospective Philadelphia County residents that have existing barriers to employment with the four trades taught at the Carpenters Philadelphia JAC. Classes will include instruction to prepare candidates to complete the intake process for the Philadelphia Carpenter’s Apprenticeship.

Do you enjoy working with your hands? Do you like working as part of a team? Carpenters are able to adapt to a variety of working conditions, take a sense of pride in their work, and apply themselves diligently in order to become a skilled craftspeople. Applicants should possess above average manual dexterity, coordination, and balance. Carpenters work both indoors and outdoors, and the work is physical by nature.

January 9, 16, 23, 30 – Classroom & Shop Instruction
February 6, 13, 20, 27 – Classroom & Shop Instruction
