Through the Community Justice Grant Challenge, Expensify.org is paying groups back, so they can pay it forward.
If you have an idea on how to address the injustices affecting those who were formerly incarcerated, and want to receive up to $100,000 to help scale it, we want to hear from you! If your proposal is picked, we’ll further your reach by reimbursing 50% of volunteer or participants' expenses.
Community Justice Grant Challenge
STEP 1 Submit Application Send us an idea for a campaign that addresses injustice and advocates for the formerly incarcerated in your community. Whatever stage your idea is at, we’ll work with you to define your vision.
STEP 2 Refine Proposal You’ll be assigned an Expensify.org Advocate who will work with you to make any adjustments necessary for eligibility while also helping you put your strongest foot forward.
STEP 3 Community Voting Voting begins shortly after applications close. For each fund, our community votes on the campaigns they think will make the most impactful change in communities.
STEP 4 Winners Announced After votes are tallied, two winners for each fund category are announced along with the reveal for our overall top two most popular campaigns across all category funds.
