The Director of Community Engagement will develop and maintain relationships with Greater PhiladelphiaArea & Southern New Jersey, community-based organizations and government agencies who will act as referral partners for First Step Staffing Philadelphia. Major responsibilities will include maintaining established partnerships; recruiting, screening and engaging new partners; and developing and implementing a Community Engagement Program that can be implemented in all First Step markets. This role coordinates activities and functions to ensure the objectives for the program are accomplished in line with established priorities, time lines, budget, and other specifications. This role conducts program and data tracking, analysis & reporting, and implements processes and improvements to ensure successful and sustainable deployment of programs and satisfaction of our nonprofit partners.
Responsible for shared support of day-to-day operations of the staffing program, including account management, referrals, orientation, placement, and follow up. The Job Coach will facilitate the placing of clients experiencing homelessness with temporary/transitional work assignment, according to the needs of First Step’s employment partners.
