This law will mean that possession of fentanyl test strips is no longer punishable by up to one year in prison and it removes fentanyl test strips from the definition of drug paraphernalia.
This bill allows those who use drugs and people experiencing addiction to possess and use test strips to ensure their own safety without fear of facing criminal charges.
