Penn Medicine’s Penn Center for Community Health Workers is currently hiring full-time community health workers (CHWs) to do life-changing work in the community. CHWs are people who come from the communities they serve. They act as caring neighbors to help people address the social, medical and community problems that lead to poor health. Penn Medicine is looking for CHWs to support their patients in dealing with the issues that keep them from staying healthy, help with the tasks of accessing medical care, and work on health goals by doing things like planning healthy meals or finding time to exercise.
Any criminal convictions within the last 7 years will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
