The PGP Philadelphia has received a $75,000 grant from the Patricia Kind Family Foundation, to be awarded over three years.
With this grant the PKFF is deepening its support for the PGP’s work in Philadelphia, which has expanded in the past two years to include tutoring for students enrolled in adult education programming offered by Beyond Literacy and JEVS, and youth who are participating in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Juvenile Diversion Program. The PGP has provided tutoring programs for incarcerated learners in Philadelphia since 2015. The grant will enable the PGP in Philadelphia to meet the growing demand for its services and reach more students with high-quality tutoring tailored to individual learners’ needs.
