The Office of Policy and Strategic Initiatives for Criminal Justice & Public Safety (CJPS) is continuing the Community Listening Tour for the fall. The goal of the Listening Tour is to raise awareness of resources to community members, while also increasing connection among neighbors.
Last spring and summer, CJPS hosted nearly twenty meetings throughout Philadelphia as part of our Philadelphia Roadmap to Safer Communities Community Listening Tour. Through these meetings, we met with over 300 individuals who shared their thoughts and feelings on gun violence in Philadelphia, as well as sharing resources and opportunities for connection.
This November, they will be sharing information about the Philadelphia Roadmap to Safer Communities, sharing recent updates from the Office, and hearing from community members.
