
The Division of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and Philadelphia Housing Development Corp. (PHDC) announce the Philly First Home program, the City’s first-time homebuyer down payment assistance program, reopens today!
Philly First Home program provides up to $10,000 (or 6% of the purchase price, whichever is less) in assistance. The homebuyer must:
Be a first-time homebuyer or a buyer who has not owned a home for at least three years
Purchase a home in Philadelphia
Have a household income at or below 100% Area Median Income (AMI)
Complete housing counseling at a DHCD funded housing counseling agency
The Philly First Home programs funds can be used towards a down payment and/or closing costs.
