The Navy Yard Workforce Development is excited to announce that they are recruiting for training and job opportunities as Apprentices starting today through Friday, March 11th!
This program which will run March 28 - April 15 intends to connect Philadelphia residents to an opportunity to interview for union-represented Apprentice positions at Philly Shipyard Inc. starting at $17.13/hr. Graduates who are extended a job offer will have the opportunity to become full-performance welders or shipbuilders through the three-year Apprenticeship.
