
PowerCorpsPHL is a 4-18 month, paid workforce development program that uses environmental service as the vehicle to teach career and technical skills. Members earn a living allowance of $1,400/ month and are eligible for additional benefits including transportation and education support.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1: Complete the online application and schedule interview

Step 4: Complete our 3-week Introductory Period

Selection into PowerCorpsPHL is a competitive process. Interviewees will be assessed on their engagement, professionalism, and work ethic. Invitations to the Introductory Period are made on a rolling basis. Applicants are highly encouraged to apply before the deadline.
*During the interview process, all applicants submit a state-issued Photo ID, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Diploma or GED. Applicants must complete background checks, at no cost to the candidate. Upon successful completion of the Introductory Period, candidates are accepted into PowerCorpsPHL and officially enrolled as AmeriCorps members.
