Want to hear about the latest changes to Ban the Box as of December 2020? This presentation will look at restrictions on the use of criminal records in hiring in Pennsylvania, with a focus on Philadelphia.
The session will focus on Philadelphia's Fair Criminal Records Screening Standards Ordinance, often referred to as Ban the Box. Presenters will discuss how the law affects employers' ability to inquire about and consider criminal records, with a particular focus on the recent amendments that have expanded the ordinance to protect more workers.
We anticipate there will be ample time for questions.
