University of California Irvine Conducting Paid Study on Language Accessibility in Justice System

A team out of University of California, Irvine is conducting a study to learn about language accessibility in the criminal justice system. They're hoping to interview 90 persons who are limited English speaking and justice involved across three cities, and Philadelphia has been chosen as one of the cities of study.

Everyone who participates will receive a $50 payment for your participation. The interviews can take place in person, over the phone, or via zoom; whatever is preferred. The interview will take about one hour, and people participating will be asked about their experiences and views on language accessibility. All interviews are completely confidential.
