The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) is hosting a virtual webinar focusing on removing employment barriers for job seekers with criminal records and histories in quest of re-entry to the workforce.
If you are a federal contractor, community-based organization, employer, job seeker, college student with criminal justice career aspirations, and/or criminal justice professional then you should attend. The event will provide information on OFCCP, EEO employment guidance, and regulations concerning the use of criminal records, as well as discuss community-based, state, and local programs available.
We invite you to learn about:
• Best practices to create an All-Inclusive Workplace for job seekers with a criminal record
• What to do if you apply for a job and are denied employment due to a past criminal record
• Programs and resources to assist individuals with criminal records reintegrate into the community and workforce.
