WITH Foundation invites applications for programs serving adults with disabilities

The WITH Foundation was created to provide financial support to organizations that promote comprehensive health care for adults with developmental disabilities.

To that end, grants of between $30,000 and $50,000 will be awarded in support of programs that improve the delivery of health care to adults with developmental disabilities and include at least one aspect of improving health practitioner competency through education and/or training programs; addressing the current inadequate reimbursement systems, advancing innovations in formal care coordination, enhancing advocacy regarding the inadequacies of developmentally disabled care to advance systemic change; increasing understanding of supported decision making in healthcare settings; promoting national efforts in digital health that support designers and developers to include the perspectives/experiences of the IDD community within the design process, to create better technology for all; social policy research; and identifying and overcoming barriers to high-quality healthcare access.

Applicants must have tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status as defined by the Internal Revenue Service. While applications from the San Francisco Bay Area may be given preferential consideration, applications from other areas in the United States are not excluded.

Letters of intent are due December 9, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. PT, and selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal on January 30, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PT.
