The York County Coalition on Homelessness is partnering with Tenfold to provide a “Fair Housing 101” session on May 11, 2022 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. This session will be conducted virtually, and cover the basics of Federal, State, and Local fair housing law. Some topics we will cover include:
• Disparate impact verse Disparate Treatment
• Fair Housing Exemption
• Common Fair Housing Mistakes
This session is open to all those interested in attending – attached is a flyer to share with your network. I strongly encourage CoC and ESG funded programs to attend, as HUD requires Continuum of Care partners to have Fair Housing training annually.
Many providers also have new staff working with housing – this training is an excellent way to educate them on a foundation of Fair Housing!
